Seven elderly people in Kaliagung village, that are; Pedukuhan Kaliagang, Kalipenten, and Nglotak were received the living expenses assistance from BAZNAS Kulon Progo Regency. The symbolic handover was carried out by Waka I H. Agus Nuryanto at the Kaliagung hall village a few moments ago.

As stated by Agus Nuryanto that in collecting the assistance data, BAZNAS collaborated with the KKN students of UAD in that Kaliagung village. “There are seven elderly people who received Rp 1 million for the living expenses. The symbolic was given at the urban village hall, then the students will hand it over to each recipient,” Said Agus.

Meanwhile, the KKN Advisory Lecturer (DPL), Marsudi Endang Sri Rejeki, S.E., M.M. stated that the collaboration with BAZNAS in providing the assistance was aimed to educate KKN students about asnaf beneficiaries of zakat funds. She said that in the religion program, one of the program was related to the third pillar of Islam, which is Zakat. In this case, UAD students collaborating with BAZNAS Kulon Progo learn to identify the communities in the KKN location who are included in the 8 mustahiq asnaf beneficiaries of zakat funds who need assistance.
