Sparks (Automatic speed measurement system) is an experimental tool based on the Arduino microcontroller and Photogate sensor for measuring velocity of the object. The prototype of this system has been used to measure the motion of a cylinder when it’s rolling on an inclined plane. Sparks can be used in physics or another experimental research which the results can be seen from a laptop/PC monitor screen in real time.
